I wonder if anyone still posts on this site. Just wasting time, waiting on someone. I've been a ghost due to my schedule, and I've been focusing on some important things. If anyone's reading this, please wish me luck on my CCNA exam. I've been studying for it, but they've recently changed the test format to weed out people who shouldn't be certified. I can only hope that I'm computer geek enough to get this cert. It'll change my life, and I'll have a real job I can use to build a good financial base.

Anyhoo, I hope everyone is well - take care, and I hope to see you soon.

I know everyone's probably tired by now of hearing about 9/11, but I think it's important to remember. Not just because thousands of innocent people died that day, but because it's another example of how the US government has pulled the veil over the collective public's eyes.

It's nothing short of pure irresponsibility on the part of our leaders that leads to these kinds of threats. Knowing full well the atrocities committed by our armed forces overseas and doing nothing is tantamount to inviting terror attacks. The government sends 'special ops' forces all over that region to assisinate, debunk, and place puppet leaders, just to maintain 'stability' -- meaning, we want to make sure that soccer mom in her land rover won't need to pay more than $1.50 a gallon for her gas.

The goverment complains of the 'dumbing down' of America, but they count on that same stupidity and apathy to carry out their own dirty agendas unquestioned. They spin events, even 9/11, in such a way that someone else is always the bad guy. Bin Laden? Please, the Bush family and the Bin Laden family have close ties with one another.

Haliburton consulting has made a pretty penny rebuilding infrastructure destroyed during the massacre of Baghdad, otherwise known as 'shock and awe.' Guess who comprises the board of directors for that company? You should look that one up, although if you're following me, you already know.

This is not some paranoid rant. If you don't believe me, look it up yourself. The information is freely and widely available, and people still don't know. Don't be fooled, and don't be a lemming.

hello, xanga sluts -- now is the time for my much anticipated and much predictable update into the daily homogeny that my life has become... and you know what? It's not so bad. I always thought I'd constantly be pushing the edge of what I can do, but I'm finding some comfort in stability now. Over the last 12-13 years, I've moved at least 10 times and had at least 14 different jobs -- I'm glad to be more settled... cuz let's face it, moving sucks.

I'm also finding that my dreams are not as dead as I once thought. The idealistic young punk in me seems to think that a fulfilled life just happens to anyone who wishes it so. Now, I'm finding that these dreams don't necessarily offer their fulfillment at the destination, but on the road to realizing them. I don't care so much that I hate my job, or that I've hated most of my jobs. These are all steps I'm taking to where I'm going, and the view isn't so bad.

So, here's to all us folks who get the jokes for being older... hopefully, we're getting a little wiser ;)

Thought of the Day --

How To Save A Life

bleh to adult routine.

I swear, this generation, myself included, are so impatient. It's hard to fathom that the wealth we see our parents with took, on average, 20+ years to accumulate. How many ppl remember staying in some ghetto ass aparment for at least some part of their childhood before moving into the 'nice' house?

I'm kinda feelin that spoiled urge to get rich quick, but don't you inevitably sell some of your soul anytime you get money really fast? ie - selling drugs, scamming people, robbing a bank, selling cars... just kidding about that last one.

Maybe I should just get married. Or maybe I should start selling my body to the highest bidder... $5? any takers? $5... going once... twice...

Fortune cookie thought of the day ---

"But there are some people, nevertheless - and I am one of them - who think that the most practical and important thing about a man is still his view of the universe. We think that for a landlady considering a lodger, it is important to know his income, but still more important to know his philosophy. We think that for a general about to fight an enemy, it is important to know the enemy's numbers, but still more important to know the enemy's philosophy." - G. K. Chesterton

I read this quote, and thought of almost everyone we hang out with....

"It's useless to hold a person to anything he says while he's in love, drunk, or running for office." - Shirley MacLaine (1934~) American Actor, Dancer, Writer
